About the artist
Vida Behar is a Seattle-based emerging artist, filmmaker, and writer whose work deals themes of horror, queerness, and futurism. Her artwork is influenced by vintage comics, film noir, and fetish magazines from the 1950s through the 1970s. She primarily works in India ink, as well as using gouache, oil, Super8, and acrylic paint.
